Music workshop for children

The Chinese use to say:“If a country neglects education, it will eventually dry up.” This is somewhat similar to the current situation in Berlin’s music school landscape: Children are increasingly less likely to have the opportunity to receive qualified music lessons.

One of the few people who tirelessly advocates for music education is Gerhard Scherer, a dedicated and inspiring music teacher.

With him, children learn not only technical perfection, but also the beauty and expressiveness of music—through hard work and dedication, of course. This miniature collection titled “Mathematics Lessons” was composed for Mr. Scherer’s students.
