Siemensstadt and John Rabe

How is John Rabe’s biography connected to the rise of the Siemens Group? In the run-up to the world premiere of Mayako Kubo’s composition “John Rabe – Endstation Siemensstadt” at the Zitadelle Spandau, the Historikerlabor invites you to a performative city walk in what is currently Berlin’s most development-friendly district: SIEMENSSTADT. The playful discovery tour with sporting interludes, talks, music and electrical experiments provides vivid insights into the planning of this district, the emergence of the global corporation and the biography of the “Good German of Nanking”. Duration: 80 min.
