The summer of 2018 was hot and long. In the middle of that summer, my friend quietly passed away. It was so hot that not a single bird sang at the forest cemetery.

The following is something special for friends of the viola and of up and coming talent:

Simone Jandl moves the concert of her viola class at the Hanns Eisler Music School to the WUNDERKAMMER workshop. Together with her students she will play works for one to four violas, by Leclair, Ligeti, and many others, and also a specially composed piece by Mayako Kubo.
